In Constant Motion, Away we go
The new accessibility symbols sports a yellow background. The lines, colors and texture from an underlying Afghan rug draw the person racing in his wheelchair.
N.B.: These descriptions were developed from a series of conversations between artist Jessica Skintges Wallach and comedian Lamont Price, The People’s heART’s docent. Sometimes they choose to write these descriptions in one voice and sometimes they choose to highlight their individual thoughts. These pieces are a conversation started and they both are very interested in what you see in them and what they make you think about. Please leave comments below.
Jessica: From wondering to the realizing what is possible if accessibility exists…accessibility does not mean easily, just knowingly possible.
Lamont: This is beautiful. This is exuberance. The pure unbridled excitement of this piece makes me happy. The frenzy in which this person is heading towards their goal makes me believe that not only are they excited to reach their destination but there is supreme confidence that the people they’re rushing to meet are just as excited about them getting there and that is a lovely thought. A world we all hope to live in. This person is RUSHING towards laughter and jubilation, his person can’t wait to reach their destination. They are unstoppable.
